MIAMI, Fla. (WPEC) — More than a half ton of cocaine and hundreds of pounds of marijuana - along with 10 suspected smugglers - were offloaded in Miami.
The U.S. Coast Guard said the first offload was on June 25. Crewmembers unloaded over 765 pounds of cocaine and 320 pounds of marijuana — an estimated value of $10 million.
The second offloading was on Friday. The Coast Guard said a cutter brought back over 502 pounds of cocaine worth around $6.6 million.
