LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A 26-year-old man has been accused of killing a woman in a six-car crash while attempting to flee from law enforcement in Lake Worth Beach.
On August 7th, around 10:00 p.m., an officer from the Atlantis Police conducted a traffic stop after observing an SUV run through a red light at the intersection of Lantana Road and Congress Avenue in Lake Worth Beach.
According to the probable cause affidavit, when the officer approached the SUV, driven by Raekwon Isaiah Johnson, they reported smelling marijuana from the vehicle. The officer then asked Johnson if he had a medical marijuana card, to which he replied he did not have one.
