MIAMI, Fla. (CBS12) — Five people from Miami-Dade were arrested for their involvement in a large-scale organized retail theft fraud scheme that spanned across Florida.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) said they've arrested Maike Acosta De Armas, 47, Lazaro Santiago Acosta De Armas, 45, Yusser Echemendia Rodriguez, 42, Elias Ramos Hernandez, 48, and Honasi Diaz Santos, 47, face felony counts including organized scheme to defraud of $50,000 or more and retail theft of multiple items within thirty days at different stores across the Sunshine State.
FDLE said the thieves hit 13 counties in Florida:

St. Lucie County
Martin County
Indian River County
Brevard County
Broward County
Orange County
Sarasota County
Lee County
Collier County
Charlotte County
Volusia County
Miami-Dade County
