TEQUESTA, Fla. — Six migrants — four Haitians and two from the Dominican Republic — were apprehended after a boat landed Saturday night on the beach in Coral Cove Park area in Tequesta, the U.S. Border Patrol said Sunday.
Eight people were aboard the small boat, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said.
Border Patrol agents, along with federal, state and local law enforcement partners, responded to the landing, Border Patrol regional Chief Samuel Briggs II posted on X, along with an image of the small boat.
