STUART, Fla. — An Arkansas man and accused gang member is now behind bars in Martin County after the second large drug bust there in less than a week.
Daniel Gatlin is now facing drug trafficking charges, and the Martin County sheriff said his arrest is just a glimpse into that issue in Florida and across the country.
“Our documented gang member, in this case Mr. Gatlin, had every intention of putting that poison on our streets, and it would have ultimately ended up in the hands of people abusing narcotics,” Martin County Sheriff William Snyder said.
Gatlin was arrested Wednesday night outside a RaceTrac in Stuart.
