BOCA RATON, Fla. (CBS12) — Boca Raton’s skyline is transforming, and one of the most visible signs are the new upscale restaurants and luxury high-rise office and residential buildings.
“People are building offices here, when they are leaving other places because people want to be here,” said Boca Raton Mayor, Scott Singer. “We have plenty of multimillion-dollar developments coming up in our downtown -- again, it speaks to how attractive we are, so the biggest challenge is managing all of that.”
But that’s a good problem to have, Singer said.
And with more growth comes more traffic, so now city leaders are working to figure out how to improve Palmetto Park Road, which is one of the main roads through the heart of Boca Raton.
