FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (CBS12) — A Boynton Beach man was found guilty by a federal jury for threatening to kill a member of Congress and another person.
The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) said after a two-day trial a federal jury in Fort Lauderdale convicted 53-year-old Frank Stanzione on Thursday for calling the office of a Congress member and threatening to kill the member of Congress and another person.
On Jan. 30, 2023, a Congress member's chief of staff reported a phone call to the United States Capitol Police (USCP).
