JUPITER, Fla. – Gov. Ron DeSantis announced funding on Monday for persons with disabilities that will be approved in the state’s 2024-25 fiscal budget.
The funding includes $2.2 billion for Florida’s Agency for Persons with Disabilities.
He emphasized the continued expansion of the state’s school choice efforts, specifically relating to students with disabilities and their access to schools that provide important special needs resources.
He said how Florida has close to 100,000 students with unique abilities currently on scholarships.
