TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Gov. Ron DeSantis spokeswoman Christina Pushaw said that the anonymous staffers serving under President Joe Biden should be resigning and making their comments public if it’s true that the incumbent is not fit for reelection.
Democrats have headed into a tailspin after Biden’s disastrous first presidential debate performance, and then failed to patch up the flood of calls to drop out of the race after an ABC interview and Thursday night’s press conference.
“I’ll never understand these government and campaign staffers who run to journos as ‘anonymous sources’ to explain how their boss is not fit for office,” Pushaw said. “Of course it’s true and Biden staffers know that better than anyone because they see him day to day.”
“But if you Biden staffers truly believe the things you’re telling journos on background, why don’t you resign your position and say it publicly?” she said. “That takes too much integrity?”
