FORT PIERCE, Fla. (CBS12) — Fort Pierce resident Jesus Pazos Pazos, 21, was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail over the weekend on a list of drug-related charges.

After hearing multiple gunshots Saturday while on patrol, detectives with the Fort Pierce Police Department (FPPD) established a scene and quickly determined where the firing came from.

Law enforcement searched for victims then began knocking on the doors of a home off South 22nd Street they concluded was where the gunshots originated from.

“They were looking for victims initially; when they got to the residence, they were making sure nobody was shot, and when they peered in the window, they saw drug-making material in plain view,” FPPD Major Eric Chan said.
