The latest analysis by Open The Books (OTB) shows that new environmental regulations by the Biden administration will cost Floridians and U.S taxpayers $1 trillion dollars in 2024. All of this comes through the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

In the past, regulations have been up and down during certain administrations. During the Obama years, there was around 100,000 pages of regulation, under former President Trump that was cut down to 62,000 pages.

“In 2023 and into 2024 environmental and energy regulations were the number one category when compared to other governmental agencies,” said Open the Book CEO Adam Andrzejewski.

Some of the statistics By OTN show the EPA is writing more regulations to combat climate change, with over $100 billion more dollars in federal funds allocated to the EPA to spend in new grants.
