WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — A shooting that claimed the life of a pizza delivery driver in West Palm Beach prompted a "very brief" code yellow at a school Tuesday, school officials said.
The shooting took place at about 12:50 p.m. at Ninth Street and Douglass Avenue.
West Palm Beach police spokesman Mike Jachles said the victim was found shot in the road. He was taken to St. Mary's Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
