MIRAMAR, FL—Republican state Rep. Randy Fine announced Monday afternoon that if the city of Miramar passes its proposed Israel-Palestine ceasefire resolution, he will try to revoke the city's charter and cut its state funding.

"I’m done with those who flirt with #MuslimTerror. Any city that believes it should consider supporting Hamas should not exist," Fine posted on X Monday afternoon. "Should the @CityofMiramar proceed with such a discussion, I will file legislation next year to revoke the city’s charter and see to it they don’t get a red cent from the state."

Fine turned to Democratic Mayor Wayne Messam—who traveled to Israel before his 2020 bid for President—calling him a "Muslim terror sympathizer" and demanding he "govern himself accordingly."
