FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. – The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office arrested an 11-year-old following a 10-week investigation into multiple alleged bomb and shooting threats made to Flagler County schools over a nine-day period in May.
On May 14, the sheriff’s office communications center allegedly received a bomb threat targeting Buddy Taylor Middle School.

Over the next eight days, a total of 20 additional threats, including bomb or shooting threats, were directed at Buddy Taylor and four other Flagler County schools: First Baptist Christian Academy, Flagler Palm Coast High School, Old Kings Elementary School, and Suncoast Community School between May 14 – May 22, according to the sheriff’s office.

“With school coming up in less than a month, I know that the status of this investigation was on the forefront of our community’s mind, which is why our detectives never stopped working to find the person responsible for terrorizing our students, parents, teachers, and our community,” Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly said at a news conference, shared on the agency’s Facebook page.
