Florida gas prices haven’t been this low all year

Gas prices hit a new low in Florida on Sunday.

The state average of $3.17 per gallon is five cents lower than the previous low set in March, according to Mark Jenkins, spokesman for AAA – The Auto Club Group.

“Drivers are even finding pump prices below $3 a gallon in some cities,” Jenkins said. “In fact, about 20% of Florida gas stations now have gasoline priced below $3 a gallon.”
