Florida GOP rebukes Biden executive order on border crisis: ‘Illegal aliens over American citizens’

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Republican Party of Florida responded to President Joe Biden’s attempt to secure the border through an executive order on Tuesday.

“Once again, Biden has put the interests of illegal aliens over American citizens,” party Chairman Evan Power said in a statement.

“Biden’s ‘Border Bill’ is Amnesty. It enshrines ‘catch-and-release’ in federal law, allows 5,000 illegal entries per day, takes jobs from Americans by granting millions of work permits for illegals, and replaces immigration judges with ‘asylum officers,'” he said.

The president signed a proclamation on Tuesday attempting to fix the migration crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border, which as lead to much concern by both Democrats and Republicans.
