BOCA RATON, Fla. — A Boca Raton man was arrested Thursday after admitting to police he threatened to shoot students at his former middle school.
Fernando Rodrigo Gaete, 22, has been charged with one count of written threats to kill after posting he would shoot students at Loggers Run Middle School on the social media platform Discord on Wednesday.
The threat was posted around 6 p.m. and read, "I Dominic Valentine vow to shoot up Loggers Run middle school on Monday morning gonna shoot 6 students."
School police received a call about the post around 7 p.m. that evening.
