WASHINGTON, D.C. – Florida Republican members of Congress are signing their names behind a federal effort to abolish the U.S. Department of Education, the most recent being Cory Mills.
Kentucky Republican Rep. Thomas Massie filed the bill, HR 899, in 2023.
Republicans from Florida who signed on last year include Matt Gaetz, Bill Posey, Byron Donalds and Anna Paulina Luna.
Most recently on Friday, Mills signed onto Massie’s legislation.
