Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and State Attorney General Ashley Moody are both on board supporting the impeachment of Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas for his failure for not taking control of the U.S. border.
“Yes, Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas should be impeached,Mayorkas has disregarded his oath of office and the Constitution by letting in 8 million illegal aliens. One of the reasons we have such bad outcomes in Washington is because no one is ever held accountable,” said the Governor.
In 2022, Attorney General Moody previously led a multistate effort calling for Mayorkas to resign and urged Congress to impeach Mayorkas back in April of 2023.
“Monthly encounter numbers continue to break records, and it is clear that there is no end in sight,” said Moody.
