PENSACOLA, Fla. (WEAR) — The House Ethics Committee is expanding its investigation into Congressman Matt Gaetz, according a report from CNN.
The investigation is looking into accusations that Gaetz had sex with a minor was dropped months ago, with no charges filed.
Now, the Republican-led House committee is apparently investigating if he violated any lobbying laws, or obstructed justice.
Gaetz did not seem concerned about the ethics investigation against him. He said it's simply a political move because some people don't like the way he's doing his job in Washington.
