WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A teacher at Wellington Landings Middle School was suspended for a total of 10 days without pay after being accused of saying the 'n-word' in the presence of students.

The teacher accused, Alexandra Munley, received a letter from the Palm Beach County School District Superintendent Michael J. Burke stating that there was "just cause" substantiated by clear and convincing evidence to warrant her 10-day suspension without pay.

It further states Munley became the subject of an investigation after there were allegations she violated policy through the use of "discriminatory/racial term and inappropriate profane language in students' presence...at the conclusion of the investigation, the allegations were substantiated."
