WASHINGTON, D.C. – Parental rights organization Moms for Liberty responded to Florida Democratic Rep. Maxwell Frost’s effort help school districts fight against challenges to educational and library materials.
Frost said the bill, called the “Fight Book Bans Act,” would give school districts federal funding to oppose challenges to its curriculum.
“Together, we’re taking a stand against censorship to protect the history and truth of our Black, brown, Hispanic, and LGBTQ+ communities,” Frost said.
