TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – According to recent polling data and a newly released model, former President Donald Trump continues to maintain a lead over President Joe Biden in Florida.
538’s Florida electoral vote simulations have Trump winning the state 74 out of 100 times in 2024.
The simulations also had Biden winning it 69 out of 100 times in the lead up to the 2020 presidential election, severely underestimating Trump.
The former president won the Sunshine State in 2020 with over 51% of the vote compared to Biden’s 47%.
