New study: Minimum wage workers in Florida do not make enough money to afford cost of living

A new report found the average minimum wage worker in Florida is not making enough money to afford the cost of living.

The minimum wage is $12 an hour in the state.

According to a report from the National Low Income Housing Coalition, renters in Florida would have to make triple that to afford a two-bedroom residence.
