LANTANA, Fla. (CBS12) — School classrooms are constantly changing, whether it was safety precautions during COVID-19, or new technology over the years. Now schools are starting to use artificial intelligence to help students and teachers.
In January, the Palm Beach County School District started using a program called Khanmigo. It’s part of the Khan Academy suite that the district has already been using.
At Santaluces Community High School, students in a college algebra class are using Khanmigo to get one-on-one help with assignments. The school is one of nine in the district that is using the program.
Khanmigo is something Superintendent Mike Burke says is a great tool.
