Piece of man's nose bitten off in failed murder plot at West Palm Beach train station

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A man had a chunk of his nose bitten off after he conspired with a tattoo artist to commit a murder, according to the West Palm Beach Police Department.

Police say the incident happened two months ago at the Tri-Rail station near Tamarind Ave in West Palm Beach. According to the arrest affidavit, the victim told police that he was alerted by one of his employees that a man at his place of work was causing trouble at the bar and lounge he managed.

The victim met the suspect, Vladimir Fareau, 42, and offered him a beer to get him to leave and de-escalate the situation, the report reads. The report continued, Fareau explained to the victim that he didn't have anywhere to go, leading to the victim to offer to drive him to the train station.
