WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – A three-time convicted felon from Broward County was arrested on Thursday in connection with a violent armed robbery at the Red Lobster where he was employed in West Palm Beach, according to police.
Authorities said the incident took place around 11 p.m. on April 14, when a masked individual, who West Palm Beach police identified as Ta‘Shambae Saleme Greene, 35, of Lauderhill, broke into the closed business, located at 2201 Palm Beach Lakes Blvd., and held the manager and another employee at gunpoint.
Surveillance video obtained by Local 10 News shows Greene holding the gun up to the manager’s head before striking her with it and ordering her to unlock the safe, according to police.
Police said Green took an undisclosed amount of cash and stashed it into a duffle bag. He also grabbed the manager’s iPhone 15 before fleeing the scene.
