STUART, Fla. (CBS12) — An investigation by the Martin County School District has concluded that South Fork High School Principal Dr. Timothy Aitken violated school district policy and "engaged in misconduct in office, incompetency and willful neglect of duty" on August 28.
In a letter dated October 27 to Aitken, Superintendent Michael Maine says Aitken and a teacher participated in the strip search of a student in a classroom and "the student was required to remove his clothes to his underwear." Aitken was trying to locate a vape when the strip search was done.
