If you got your mail-in ballot for the Florida primary election, you only saw the local races for your registered party. But there are several big races to watch across the state for names you've probably heard of before you send it in or head to the polls.
U.S. Senator and former governor Rick Scott is facing a challenge for his second term, for example. U.S. Reps. Matt Gaetz, Mike Waltz and Byron Donalds are all up for re-election.
The primary election is on Tuesday, Aug. 20, but mail-in ballots have already gone out and early voting locations are opening across the state.
