School Board passes resolution on LGBTQ+ History Month in Palm Beach County

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — The Palm Beach County School Board unanimously approved LGBTQ + History Month at Wednesday's meeting.

No board members opposed it and the motion carried five to zero.

Support from the public could be seen in the comment section. Out of 15 speakers, only one person opposed the motion.

This is considered a win for the LGBTQ community. Many gays and trans people spoke at the meeting thanking the board.
