Single family home prices jump again in Palm Beach County

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A new report shows the costs of Palm Beach County homes are going up, making living in the county almost unaffordable.

Home prices have gone up over 11 percent in the last year, with the median price now sitting at $650,000, according to Broward, Palm Beaches & St. Lucie Realtors.

The average sales price in the county hit one-point-one million dollars last month.

“Today’s market is so funky. It’s up, it's down, there’s no consistency in any of the patterns that we’re seeing,” said Ashley Travers, a real estate agent in Palm Beach County.
