WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Six people were arrested and dozens of citations were issued following another "Operation Hot Wheels" crackdown.

"Operation Hot Wheels" is aimed to hold accountable car clubs and car enthusiasts that would meet and break numerous traffic laws, including racing and reckless driving, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office (PBSO).

PBSO said investigators learned of a large-scale car club event on April 13, Clean Cultures New Year Showcase at Cacti Park in West Palm Beach, with over 4,000 people planning to attend.
