WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — On Thursday night, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the Extended Stay America in reference to a tip of a 14-year-old girl possibly being trafficked.
According to the police report, the tipster said they saw the teenager with a Hispanic woman who was well-known as a sex worker at the motel, and the teenager would speak with random men.
The teenager spoke with officers on the scene, telling them she has been homeless because her mother, Emily Cody, put her out of their home, and the Hispanic woman has been helping her rent out rooms at various hotels.
