TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Port St. Lucie was named the best city for economic growth in the U.S. when ranked against other cities with a population under 250,000, according to CoworkingCafe.
The city, home to over 230,000 people, was ranked behind first place Nampa, Idaho and second place San Bernardino, California.
Port St. Lucie’s population grew by 19% in 2018-2022, the outlet said, highlighting how developers “have their eyes set” on the city.
In the same time, the city also gained 18% more housing dwellings.
