MIAMI, Fla. (CBS12) — Twelve migrants were transported to the Bahamas after trying to enter the United States on Christmas Eve, according to the United States Coast Guard (USCG).
According to USCG, the vessel was intercepted at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 24.
Once onboard all migrants received food, water, shelter and basic medical attention, USCG says.
