West Boca Medical Center opens fast track emergency room to enhance patient care and relieve wait times

BOCA RATON, Fla. — With crowded waiting rooms and long wait times in the emergency department, one local hospital has just opened a brand-new facility that will help relieve that pressure for many patients and staff.

"This is like an urgent care facility attached to a hospital, which you can’t get anywhere," Cory Harow, chief of emergency department at West Boca Medical Center, told WPBF 25 News.

The new fast-track emergency department, as well as the pediatric emergency unit, are just steps away from the hospital's main emergency room.
