A West Boca Raton community was jolted today when one of its residents was nabbed by the cops, slapped with multiple felony charges related to a brazen carjacking incident.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office threw the book at Darvin Pinales, 25, a resident of Boca Falls, a gated slice of suburbia normally undisturbed by such disturbances.
Charged with two counts each of carjacking and flaunting a firearm or other deadly weapon, Pinales also faces a fleeing-the-cops charge and one for brandishing iron while already under indictment, according to BocaNewsNow.com. The 25-year-old was carted off to jail on a $50,000 bond, but no bond has been set for the carjacking rap.
