WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — One of West Palm Beach’s oldest problems is back in the spotlight: open prostitution. Our CBS12 News team has been closely following this ongoing problem as authorities ramp up undercover operations targeting quality-of-life crimes.
Tuesday, the West Palm Beach Police Department conducted a major undercover sting in the city's north end, focusing on known hotspots like Tamarind, Dixie, and Broadway.
Detectives posed as potential clients, leading to nearly a dozen arrests in just one day.
This latest operation resulted in 10 women and one man who identifies as a woman being apprehended.
